Feature Requests

I am not checking my email all day, and due to the last minute nature of this entire business, it’s could be easy to miss a same or next day booking. Also, I need to be able to know when guests have messaged me. What if it’s urgent and I don’t check my email until tomorrow? Also, sometimes if my house is empty, I’ve been flexible with the cleaning schedule. It’s even possible for someone to book through host share and the house isn’t ready. Immediate messaging through the app seems like a huge priority.

The listings that have no remaining dates should not show up as "available to book"

Opt-in to share your property to be booked in advanced (but only during the days in the year that you are willing to share - not peak or in-season nights), and in turn you get the opportunity to book other places in advance as well. No longer limited by the last-minute nature. Still only required to share up to your max share nights.

Is it possible for you to waive yearly fees for hosts who have made their property available, hosted others but have not had the opportunity to book a property themselves? I wonder how many of us fit that category?

I searched for a stay that was 2 nights. It showed me a house that had those dates available, but when looking at the free nights available, they only had 1 night to share.

I am in Hostshare Advanced. I didn't understand the blockout date restrictions when I first launched. My cottage is seasonal has to close in the winter (pipes would freeze). That's late-Nov - April and uses my blockout dates. I ended up with someone who booked the first day her visit fit in the 6 month window and lost peak August. My peak is only 8 weeks. I didn't want to lose that. I was ok with May, June, Sept, Oct, but I lost peak time. I need enough blockout days to cover winter and my 60 peak days. The request is that they accommodate this for seasonal rentals and allow winter shutdown periods.

Just following up that reviews should get integrated. We've done 2 hostshare stays so far and the host has been amazing. I think down the line as Hostshare ages, people will want to know if the stay was good, how the host was, etc... Especially since there have been issues with hosts canceling or not honoring it - those should also get reviewed.

When searching for availability, houses show up with the dates available, but once you go to reserve you see that they have 0 nights left to share. It would be nice if those houses didn't show up in the search, especially when you are putting in specific dates.
