🚀 Advanced Travel Onboarding Improvements

A wave of fixes & enhancements released over the last few days — powered by your beta feedback!
Over the last few days, we’ve rolled out a series of improvements to the Advanced Travel Onboarding experience. These updates address early beta feedback, fix several onboarding issues, and add more clarity and stability to the new calendar system.

🗓️ Calendar Fixes & Enhancements
  • Fixed: A major bug where calendar dates appeared on the wrong days of the week (e.g., Dec 1, 2025 showing as Sunday instead of Monday). This fix also resolves strange bookability score issues users noticed.
  • Crash resolved: Fixed an issue causing the app to crash when selecting dates on calendars with more blockouts than allocated.
  • “Today” highlight fixed: Corrected a red-cell issue caused by UTC conversion.
  • Clear Blockouts works correctly: Now clears all blockouts, including AI suggestions and manual edits.
  • New Calendar Legend: Added a clearly labeled legend showing blockouts, available dates, buffer times, and more.

  • Year navigation: Added year-jump buttons at the bottom of the calendar for faster browsing.
  • Improved messaging: Updated helper text to better explain blockouts, share nights, and how the system works.
  • External calendars link: New quick link for users needing to upload additional external calendars.
  • Proration improvements: Blockout proration logic updated — towards the end of the year, listings now auto-receive additional blockouts if they have many open dates with high (>70) bookability scores.
  • Updated badge styling: Last-minute booking badge restyled to white.

  • Advanced Travel tab visible (but locked): Now shows a tooltip explaining that Advanced Travel booking is coming soon.

📱 Mobile UI Improvements
  • Floating Blockout Summary Widget: On mobile, users now see a floating widget with: Blockout totals, Proration details, Share nights info, Bookability scores, And more... Making the entire onboarding process much easier on smaller screens.

  • Fixed several layout issues on mobile involving modals, bullets, spacing, and overlapping UI.
  • Listing dropdown now pins to the top when scrolling, giving more room to adjust blockouts.
  • Added a loader to the AI blockout suggestion button so users know when suggestions are still processing.
  • Fixed mobile tooltips that failed to show correctly.

🧭 Onboarding Flow & UI Enhancements
  • Updated Review Setup Page: The Hostshare Agreement page now clearly shows benefits and displays a beta notice for transparency.
  • Added a CTA banner for users without a listing to help guide them into the Advanced Travel experience.
  • Fixed Share Pledge link (now correctly opens the help article).
  • Misc improvements to text content, sizing, spacing, font weights, and background color on the summary page.
