Eligible hosts (Live + Subscribed) will now see a banner in the app inviting them to activate Advanced Travel.
Once selected, hosts move through a new guided onboarding experience.

🤖 AI-Optimized Yearly Blockouts
To prepare listings for advanced bookings, hosts now review and confirm an AI-powered blockout plan.
Here’s what’s included:
- Smart blockout recommendations based on live market data + your listing data
- Up to 270 blockouts per year, determined by average nightly rate
- Ability to review and edit the proposed schedule before confirming
- Once submitted, blockouts are locked — editing for 90+ day windows will be coming shortly
This ensures host calendars are prepared for future-dated booking long before the feature goes live.

🤝 Updated Share Pledge for Advanced Travel
Before completing onboarding, hosts review and accept the updated Advanced Travel Share Pledge, which reflects the new expectations around availability for future bookings.

⏳ 7-Day Grace Period
After activating Advanced Travel:
- Hosts get 7 days to freely adjust their full year of blockouts
- They may opt out of Advanced Travel during this window
- After 7 days, editing is restricted to dates 90+ days out, and opting out requires contacting support
This grace period protects to try it out. During beta release of booking in the next couple weeks, opting-out will be paused during the beta period to ensure a we launch smoothly.

- Last-Minute booking buffer is now 7 days (formerly 10)
- Buffers can be toggled on or off per listing
- Buffers now block both before and after bookings for cleaner calendar logic
