Especially for any long distance travel, this is essential! Someone can't buy a plane ticket first, and then HOPE that they find available accommodations. Maybe 30 days? That would be awesome.

Michael Fisk I wouldn't be, personally. I think the 5 days out timeframe is good. I could see allowing 7 days out (1 week) at most. The only way it could be further out is if Hosts could block out special days like weekends and holidays/events on the hostshare calendar. But I think anyone with more than a couple units is not going to want to do that and you'll have more issues with hosts not honoring free stays. 5-7 days is ideal IMO.
