Make the 5 day timeframe just for the first day of a stay

If you want to stay somewhere for say four days - you would only find out if your whole stay was available a day before you arrive. Might make sense for the five day timeframe to be to the first day of a stay rather than for each additional day as well?

Yes!! I’m in that exact situation right now. My family is traveling for the month. I have the next 5 days booked between two different places and I’ve got my eyes on the next place. However, I can only see it available for one night because it’s 5 days out. Fingers crossed I can get it for 2-3 nights!

Yes to this! It's so hard to book a trip when you know the Friday is available but you will also need the Saturday and Sunday (for example). I can check on Airbnb if the other dates are open, but that doesn't entirely solve the problem.
